300,000 people have fled their homes, and over 50 people have died, including 20 children. Many families have been left stranded and are running out of food supplies. Whole villages in Sylhet and Sunamganj districts have been destroyed and are now under water. Hundreds of thousands of homes, hospitals and schools as well as key infrastructure such as power supply lines, water sources, and roads are all severely damaged.
People are in urgent need of support. A delayed in assistance could be catastrophic, resulting in long-term increased suffering.
Al Mustafa Welfare Trust is on the ground providing life-saving aid to those most affected. We are providing emergency packs including food, tents, sleeping bags and items for babies and mothers. We are also carrying out medical camps, providing medical assistance to those affected and injured. Each camp will be helping 200 people.
Donate today to our Bangladesh Floods Emergency response so we can provide life-saving aid to those in need.
Your Qurbani will help provide nutritious meat to those affected by floods, and to Rohingya refugees who have fled persecution. Over a million Rohingya refugees are still living in over-crowded, unsanitary refugee camps without employment opportunities, food or clean water. You will help spread ease and joy across the days of Eid, and your Qurbani will help tackle hunger as the global hunger crisis becomes deeper and more dangerous.
Give a ray of hope to those who lost everything to the flood & persecution.
