Muhammad Arsalan is 13 years old living in Okara, Pakistan. Muhammad has three siblings and his parents run a small grocery shop in their village.
At his village school, Muhammad was able to receive some primary school classes. But due to his father’s limited income and a lack of proper educational resources near by, he wasn’t able to pursue his studies further.Muhammad has always wanted to learn the Holy Quran. Fortunately he received a Hafiz sponsorship through Al Mustafa Welfare Trsut (AMWT). Earlier this year, Muhammad was enrolled at Darul Uloom Ashraful Madaris. His generous sponsor bore the cost of his educational expenses, as well as the cost of room and board at the Madrasa.
When Muhammad Arslan’s teachers realized that he was blessed with such a beautiful voice, they assigned him with the task of reciting the Adhan (call to prayer) at his school. As we enter into Ramadan, Muhammad Arsalan has begun memorising the 23rd chapter of the Quran. May Allah (swt) bestow the blessings of his studies and his recitation upon his sponsor throughout the Holly Month, in this life and the hereafter.
